T5 Aid Foundation : Helping underprivileged girls and women in Bangladesh

Mr. Taher has established a free tailoring training school in Sylhet, Bangladesh named T5 Tailoring Training Centre. So far, 100’s of poor female members of the local community have taken free training from this centre and are now financially self-sufficient. They have now gone on to work in paying jobs and have joined employment with employers in large-scales garments factories following their free training. This has helped a lot of girls who otherwise would have no income of their own. It helped girls begin to gain a greater sense of self-worth from being able to contribute to their families, their workplace and society in general. This training centre has also opened a second branch to try and reach more people to help. This training has had a great impact on the communities it helps and society overall by creating employment chances and promoting financial self-sufficiency for females in Bangladesh who hadn’t had a chance before.
