I’m Abu Taher, a UK-based accountant with 24+ years of professional experience, the founder of Mahi & Co, Vision Care Foundation, and T5 Aid Foundation. My passion lies in supporting communities, mentoring youth, and standing up for justice and transparency. My life has been shaped by a deep commitment to ethical leadership, education, and social change.
Early Life & Education
Born and raised in Chandorpur, Golapganj, Sylhet, my early years were shaped by family values and education. My journey to the UK marked the beginning of a lifelong mission for growth and justice.
Career Journey
Starting as an accountant in 1999, I founded Mahi & Co to support small businesses and individuals. Over the years, I’ve trained over 1,000 students, mentored aspiring accountants, and helped launch multiple successful practices.
Social Work & Initiatives
My drive for social responsibility led to the creation of Vision Care Foundation, supporting eye health and elderly care, and T5 Aid Foundation, which works on humanitarian and empowerment projects.
Advocacy & Campaigns
For decades, I’ve fought against injustice — including exposing high-profile banking fraud and raising awareness of land rights issues for NRBs. I founded the NRB Land Property Support Group UK to support victims of land-related injustice.
